Further, as many know, Acura is the luxury arm of Honda, which is developing its own electric SUV in conjunction with the new Acura electric car.
What are the Specs of the New Acura Electric Car?
Acura isn’t releasing a lot of specifics. So, the specs below extrapolated from the few details we do know. For instance, the new Acura electric SUV will be based on the global GM EV platform and use Ultium Drive Lithium-ion batteries. These facts give us a partial picture of what we can likely expect:
- battery pack options between 70 kWh and 100 kWh capacity
- 300-mile range
- dual-motor AWD likely available
What Will the New Acura Electric Car Cost?
Experts expect the new Acura electric SUV to start at around $50,000. This is close to the Honda electric SUV, which is planned to start at $45,000. The Acura version will likely be equipped with more luxury features.
