The Acura RDX base model has a starting price of $37,500 for the AWD model. The Audi A4 Allroad is $7,000 more than the RDX, with a starting price of $44,500. After 36 months of ownership, the Audi has a better residual value, but after 60 months the Acura RDX has a slightly higher residual value. Acura also has a longer powertrain warranty than Audi. Acura’s warranty is 72 months or 70,000 miles, while Acura’s is 48 months or 50,000 miles.
The Acura RDX has a 3.5-liter, V6 engine that makes 279 horsepower. The Audi A4 Allroad has a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder turbo engine. The turbo engine in the Audi lends to better gas mileage and more torque, but the Acura has more horsepower. The Acura RDX has slightly more cargo space than the Audi.

Acura RDX: Sport, 10-Way Power Front Seats Are Standard
The Acura RDX and Audi A4 Allroad have many of the same interior features including: heated front seats, premium sound system, review camera, color display, and a push button ignition. If you spend $7,000 more for the Audi, you’ll get 10 speakers instead of seven with the audio system and the color display is 5 inches in the Acura whereas it is 7 inches in the Audi. The Audi also has dual-zone automatic climate control, while the Audi has tri-zone. Unlike the Audi, the Acura RDX has a 10-way power driver’s seat and front sport seats as standard features.

Acura RDX: Tilt-Down Mirrors and Hood Dampers
The Acura RDX and Audi A4 Allroad come standard with heated side mirrors, a power moonroof, and a remote-linked power tailgate. There is no mention if the A4 Allroad comes with reverse gear tilt-down mirrors or hood dampers.
